County GIS Coordinator
The Knox County Board is accepting applications for the position of GIS Coordinator for Knox County, Illinois. This is an exempt position under the general supervision of the Knox County Supervisor of Assessments. The position will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of the Knox County GIS program. Successful applicants should have experience with Microsoft Office products along with previous customer service experience. A minimum of an Associate’s degree beneficial, but not required. The successful candidate shall be required to obtain certification by the State of Illinois as a Freedom of Information Officer within 6 months of hiring. The starting salary will be $51,105 annually. This is a full-time position and is eligible for all benefits as allowed by the Knox County Personnel Policy. Applicants will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check. Applications can be picked up at the Knox County Supervisor of Assessments office or online from the County website.

County Freedom of Information Officer (Position filled)
The Knox County Board is accepting applications for the position of Freedom of Information Officer for Knox County, Illinois. This is an exempt position under the general supervision of the Knox County Board. The position will handle all aspects of requests for information under the Illinois FOIA Act. Successful applicants should have experience with Microsoft Office products along with previous customer service experience. A minimum of an Associate’s degree beneficial, but not required. The successful candidate shall be required to obtain certification by the State of Illinois as a Freedom of Information Officer within 6 months of hiring. The starting salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position and is eligible for all benefits as allowed by the Knox County Personnel Policy. Applicants will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check. Applications can be picked up at the Knox County Clerk’s office or online from the County website.
