The Knox County Clerk’s Office works hard to maintain a current list of elected and appointed officials in all Knox County municipalities. Municipal elections are held on odd number years in April during the Consolidated Election cycle. Each municipality acts as their own Election Authority for the collection of candidate filings for the available positions. The municipality will then provide the County Clerk’s office with the list of offices and candidates to be placed on the ballot for the upcoming Election. The successful candidates from the Election will be added to the current list on this site. If a resignation or vacancy occurs, the municipality should provide the County Clerk with the necessary information regarding the replacement office holder.
